See the Trummelbach Falls – Europe's largest subterranean water fall. The falls are a series of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside the mountain made accessible by a tunnel-funicular, built 1913, stairs, and illumination. They alone carry the meltwater of the glaciers from the Jungfrau down to the valley - up to 20,000 liters of water per second. Harder Kulm Later you visit Harder Kulm. Take a short walk from Interlaken-OST railway station to the Harder Railway Valley Station. With a modern funicular you will reach within 10 minutes to Harder Kulm. From the viewing platform at 1,322 metres above sea level one would graciously look down upon Lake Brienz and Lake Thun, or admire the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. First take a train from Interlaken OST railway station to Grindelwald Terminal via the Bernese Oberland Railway. Change there and take the Eiger Express tricable gondola directly to the Eiger Glacier. Journey time from Grindelwald Terminal to Eiger Glacier station is just 15 minutes. From there board a cogwheel train to reach the highest railway station in Europe at 11,333 feet – a world of eternal ice and snow. Visit the Ice Palace where artistes create their work of art in ice. Check out of your hotel to take a train from Interlaken OST to Lucerne, a compact city in Switzerland known for its preserved medieval architecture, sits amid snowcapped mountains on Lake Lucerne. On arrival at Lucerne train station, transfer to the hotel and check in on your own. Later in the afternoon, you can take self tour of this beautiful town. See the Lion Monument, a rock relief in Lucerne, Switzerland, designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen and hewn in 1820–21 by Lukas Ahorn. It commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred in 1792 during the French Revolution, when revolutionaries stormed the Tuileries Palace in Paris. Visit Kapell Brucke, a covered wooden footbridge spanning the river Reuss diagonally in the city of Lucerne in central Switzerland. Have some free time to shop for famous Swiss watches, knives and chocolates. Later enjoy a scenic cruise on the lake of Lucerne. Today enjoy amazing scenery, a once in a lifetime experience with an exhilarating tip to the top of Mt Titlis at 3020 metres on various cable cars including Rotair, the world’s first revolving cable car. Firstly take a train from Lucerne train station to Engelberg train station. From there, walk the short distance towards the cable cars which will take you to the summit. Get a breath taking unrestricted 360 degrees stunning view of the dazzling snow caped peak, deep crevasses and pristine white snow fields, dotted with massive ice boulders from every angle. Check out of your hotel and proceed to Zurich by train. On arrival at Zurich train station transfer to the hotel on your own. Zurich, a global center for banking and finance, lies at the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland. See the Fraumunster, the Grossmunster, and the St.Peters Church. Spend some time at the beautiful lake of Zurich. Later enjoy shopping at bahnhofstrasse- Zurich’s shopping Boulevard. You can find everything that your heart desires in Bahnhofstrasse: fashion, art and Zurich specialties attract local residents as well as visitors. Later take a train from Zurich to Schaffhausen. You can reach the Rhine Falls by train via the 'Schloss Laufen' or 'Neuhausen Rheinfall' stations. You can walk to the Rhine Falls from there in just a few minutes. Rhine Falls is Europe’s biggest and most spectacular falls. The Rhine Falls have a drop of around 23 metres but are 150 metres wide making this a very large and impressive sight.
